This is a well stocked, store, and supports local produce providers, which means quality and a great range of products.

The Post Office and Stores offer essential services to the community, especially to the elderly and those without transport.

St Margaret's Church and Primary School

There has been a church of St. Margaret's in the village since 1909, but having outgrown the original one, they moved into a new church in 1996.

This was built in a partnership with Hampshire Education Authority, so that the facilities could be shared with South Wonston School and used throughout the week. They also have a small chapel.

The Village Hall

The Village Hall provides an important venue for social and recreational events and serves as a polling station.

You can hire the Village Hall for a variety of events.

The Village Surgery

The Village Surgery is a part-time adjunct to the main Gratton Surgery practice and dispensary in Sutton Scotney. Medicines can be sent up to South Wonston Post Office and Stores for collection. 

The Drovers, is owned by club members and run by a Management Committee which is voted into position annually. NON-MEMBERS are welcome into the club at any time and may become members upon successful application allowing them to take advantage of the benefits of membership. The club provides a wide range of beers, spirits, wine etc., at competitive prices and is also available as a venue for anniversaries, birthdays and similar personal events.
